SSEN Transmission is going through a period of unprecedented growth around the critical infrastructure it builds and operates in the North of Scotland - investing at least £22bn in the period until March 2031. Transmission Digital is a key enabler for this growth through the transformation of the underpinning IT and OT services that keep the lights on and allow SSEN Transmission to deliver an expanded ’Network for Net Zero’.
This role will be responsible for leading the Operational Technology (OT) Networks Services function within SSEN Transmission OT. It will own these capabilities end to end – running the critical 24/7 services that underpin our operational assets to keep the lights on in our network area, as well as managing significant volumes of change across our Networks as we modernise them into the RIIO-T3 pricing period to enable the network to scale to meet this huge demand.
