Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the strategic management and execution of projects related to Operational Technology (OT) systems within the Life Science organization. This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and initiation to execution and closure, while ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and operational efficiency. The engineer will also manage the portfolio of OT initiatives and its OT streams, prioritizing projects and streams based on business impact and resource availability. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams from local and global and play a crucial role in the company’s vision of a connected and predicted plant. You will make sure your project meet the target of smart manufacturing and digital and enable digital value creation.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of OT projects.
  • Ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, IT, and external vendors, to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating communication and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate project meetings, providing updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Maintain a portfolio, assessing and prioritizing initiatives based on strategic alignment and business value.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure optimal resource allocation and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project delivery.
  • Track project performance against established KPIs and metrics, providing regular reports to stakeholders on project status and outcomes.
  • Analyze project results to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement, implementing best practices in future projects.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project team.
