Responsibilities

As an OT Technician Trusted Assessor, you will be working with the Delivery and Warehouse Team, delivering, installing and collecting daily living aids and medical devices, to services users in their own homes.
You will be making assessments, advising and undertaking the fitting of equipment and carrying out minor adaptions to enable services users to safely complete everyday activities at home to promote independent for patients.
Other duties include, correct storage, control and maintenance of tools, stock levels and basic fitting equipment. You will ensure all work is securely and robustly fitted, consistent with it’s use by disabled people and maintain records of interventions.
You will need experience of OT or OTA and knowledge of Adult Social care, holding an understanding of material, equipment and techniques in the use of equipment and adaptations and changes in Planning and Building Regulation and working towards targets set by DH/ICES board.
You must hold a full clean driver’s licence to apply for this role.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
