Job Description:
The Inpatient Medicine Program consists of a more than 350 budgeted beds across the CVH & MH and is staffed by inter-professional teams who support the care of critically ill and complex medicine patients within the Mississauga Halton LHIN. Our teams provide high quality-patient centered care in an innovative environment to support the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of our patients. We are dedicated to building a diverse workforce that reflects the community in which we live and serve. Reporting to a Clinical Manager within the Program, the ideal candidate will be focused on providing patient centered care and will be given the opportunity to deliver care with compassion, excellence and courage.
Required Qualifications:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), including problem solving, negotiation and ability to have difficult conversationsEffective Team player
Preferred Qualifications:
Evidence of on-going professional developmentA second language is considered an asset in serving our community
Job Responsibilities:
Supporting and participating in the development of program and unit-level objectives, policies, procedures and quality assurance programsCompleting workload measurement reporting within a timely manner
