Working outside standard office hours, you’ll be the first point of contact for all security personnel, assisting with queries and providing essential support when it’s needed most. Your responsibilities will span a range of functions, from scheduling and administration to monitoring missed book-ons, missed check calls, and absenteeism. Using the Branch Duty Manager escalation procedure, you’ll ensure any issues are reported promptly and appropriately. This isn’t just another job. As an Out of Hours Ops Support, you’ll play a vital part in keeping teams connected, confident, and ready to perform at their best. Job Description Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Ensure all shifts, holidays, sickness and absences are covered by efficiently rostering core and relief officers Be the first point of contact for all security staff, helping them with their queries out of hours. Work to agreed practices relating to Health and Safety and quality management. Adherence to internal and external audit standards Ensure that all operational issues are managed effectively and escalated as necessary through the Duty Manager escalation procedures Assisting the Branch team updating Operational documentation Out of Hours scheduling Updating the officers’ diaries using the electronic system Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role. Ideally, you’ll have: A valid SIA licence. Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends. Excellent IT skills/Proficient in using Microsoft packages. Excellent Communication, customer service, administration, time management and organisational skills. The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
