ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Cabonne Council has an exciting opportunity for an Out of School Hours Care Lead Educator, e mployment is on a casual basis to provide relief to our various servies.
The primary purpose of this position is to accept the role of Responsible Person overseeing the day-to-day operation of the out of school hours service, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met as well as developing and delivering educational programs to primary school aged children.
You will be working as part of a team that is led by a supportive and proactive leadership team. You will be provided with support and training in line with Council’s values to learn the role and ensure our workers are resilient, adaptive and are able to perform to Council and community expectations.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated experience working with children.
• Ability to assist with the coordination of an appropriate and stimulating range of activities.
• Ability to assist in the coordination of the day-to-day operation of the Centre.
• Ability to Supervise OOSH Support Educators.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
