In this position, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers choosing outboard engines from leading brands like Yamaha, Mercury, and Suzuki. You’ll guide them through performance matching, motor configurations, and essential components—while working hand-in-hand with our Service, Parts, and Finance teams to deliver a seamless, top-tier experience from start to finish. Responsibilities include: Deliver an outstanding, memorable customer experience—whether in person, by phone, or by email Become a product expert on outboard engines, performance options, and marine technology Consistently hit (and aim to beat!) sales targets in a high-volume dealership Build long-lasting customer relationships that drive repeat and referral business Stay ahead of industry trends, new model releases, and evolving customer needs Turn incoming inquiries into opportunities that boost both sales volume and customer satisfaction Maintain a strong, active pipeline using our CRM to keep deals moving Own the sales process—from the first conversation to post-sale follow-up Partner with Service and Parts to provide accurate installation estimates Coordinate with Finance to present payment and financing solutions Accurately enter deals into the dealer management system and process all required paperwork Requirements Qualifications: Must be a strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment Proven sales success within the marine industry, with a track record of hitting or exceeding goals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership setting Outstanding customer service skills with a passion for helping people get on the water Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customers and tasks at once Solid knowledge of boating, outboard motors, and marine equipment (or the ability to learn quickly) Flexibility to work weekends, including Saturdays, during peak seasons Highly motivated, goal-driven, and eager to grow sales and personal earning potential If you’re an energetic, motivated Outboard Motor Sales Consultant ready to take on a new challenge with a fast-growing dealership, we encourage you to apply and join our team!
