ABOUT THE INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – SHOPIFY

MarketStar is looking for a New Business Sales Representative to join our Shopify team! Shopify is a leading e-commerce platform that allows individuals and businesses to create and manage their own online stores. As an Inside Sales Representative for Shopify, you will focus on acquiring new customers and expanding the company’s client base by identifying potential leads, engaging with prospects, and demonstrating the benefits and features of Shopify’s platform. Additionally, you will provide personalized consultations to help businesses understand how Shopify can meet their specific needs, assist with onboarding and initial setup to ensure a smooth transition. This role may also involve maintaining relationships with existing clients to encourage retention and upselling additional services or features.
Location: Hybrid (Mon, Tue and Thur), Leopardstown, Dublin 18

Responsibilities
  • Engage with prospects to understand their unique business goals, challenges, and needs, providing tailored Shopify solutions to help them grow.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and target potential customers within the SMB segment.
  • Lead high-volume outreach efforts through calls, emails, and social media to qualify leads and generate interest in Shopify’s offerings.
  • Manage a comprehensive sales cycle from initial contact through contract signature, maintaining an accurate pipeline of opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, solution engineering, and customer success, to enhance client engagements and outcomes.
  • Stay informed about the latest product features, industry trends, and market dynamics to provide the best possible advice and service to merchants.
  • Actively source and build your sales pipeline, demonstrating a proactive approach to forecasting and setting priorities.
