Outbound Logistics Services Coordinator Location: Fort Wayne, IN Level: Hourly Company/Division: Do it Best Group - Logistics Reporting to position: Outbound Operations Manager Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm   About the Role: Primary focus is managing weekly freight invoices from our delivery partners through our Transportation Management System (TMS). Additional essential responsibilities including auditing freight invoices, researching variances, completing cost analysis as well as coordinating backhaul freight.  This position also provides occasional support for member-facing logistics systems and processes.  Must also work effectively and efficiently with the logistics leadership team, accounting, merchandising, and finance teams. Responsibilities: * Supports logistics department regarding all facets of logistics functions * TMS/Carrier freight audit and pay oversight * Audits carrier rate adherence and accuracy, accessorial charges, detention, verification of load data to invoicing * Identify, coordinate, and track company backhauls * Assist with process improvement and efficiency                                          * Data entry and tracking * Generate management reports * Assist other logistics team areas when needed Education and Experience: Minimum * High School or GED equivalent * Proficiency of Google Sheets and Docs and/or Microsoft Word and Excel * Customer service experience * Financial and cost accounting experience * Problem-solving experience Desired * College degree * Technical School education with an area of concentration transportation-related * 5 years Supply Chain/Transportation-related background * Working knowledge of transportation-related applications (PC Miler, Onboard Computer Systems, Transportation Management Systems, etc.) * Knowledge of EDI tender processes  Skills and Abilities: * Good communication skills * Organized * Analytical thinking * Create/edit Google Sheets and Docs and/or Microsoft Word and Excel Documents  * Excellent phone communication skills * Excellent written communication skills * Ability to juggle multiple open issues and prioritize for urgency * Strong financial acumen Please note that for this role, relocation assistance is not available.
