Description

Our client is a Engineering Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Outbound Planner to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Logistics Management or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain or customer service roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of logistics systems and supply chain management.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and business management tools (e.g., System 21, Aurora, Maximo).

Responsibilities
  • Daily communication with end customers, Sales Areas, and Distribution Services.
  • Execute customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor the entire order fulfillment process (Order to Delivery).
  • Ensure correct use of criticality codes and modes of transportation.
  • Expedite orders and identify alternatives for long lead-time parts.
  • Propose improvements to optimize costs for Sales Areas and Customers.
  • Prepare monthly Service Level Reports.
  • Schedule and conduct conference calls (GoToMeeting) with Sales Areas; prepare minutes of meetings.
  • Liaise with the Global Pricing Team for price updates in the Sales Area System.
  • Coordinate with the Freight Team to ensure timely shipments.
  • Run aging reports to schedule outstanding orders and update due dates for visibility.
  • Investigate, follow up, and resolve issues such as: Missing pricing, expedited delivery dates, credit notes, miscellaneous invoices, or technical issues with TSD.
  • Handle emergency orders up to Proof of Delivery (POD).
  • Address special Sales Area requirements, including:Inspection arrangements, container arrangements, L/C terms, FOB/Ex-Work shipping arrangements, and document preparation for claims when required.
