Role Title: Outbound Sales Agent
Reporting to: Customer Care Manager
Division: Customer
Department / Section: Customer Team

Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to prospective and lapsed customers, offering an array of services including subscription, home delivery and other services MediaHuis may offer from time to time. Secure satisfied customers and log relevant customer information to enable MediaHuis to improve the customer experience and the business.Calling both domestic and corporate customers offering MediaHuis services such as subscriptions, home delivery and other relevant products.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (Overview)

  • First class communication skills with the ability to build relationships and all levels.
  • Sales and/or other relevant commercial experience within a structured and target-based environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in achieving targets within a commercial environment.
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
  • An ability to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload accordingly.
  • Ensure upselling and cross selling opportunities are developed and won.
  • Building rapport with corporate customers and pipeline opportunities.
  • Conduct all contacts in a polite, helpful, sincere and professional manner.
  • Make every customer interaction positive.
  • Keeping the customer informed of the latest products and services.
  • Objection handle effectively.
  • Treat all customers and potential customers’ details with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate an ability to listen to the customer and show a willingness to assist them with any queries they may have.
  • Demonstrate appropriate soft skills i.e. voice pitch, tone, pace, volume, etc.
  • Accurately capture the information provided by customers.
  • Updating CRM and capturing relevant customer information to enable the business to provide customer insight.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and be an active contributor to team meetings.
  • Advise management of any work practices that could improve the service to customers.
  • Be aware of your responsibilities under the Data Protection Act/GDPR.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the post as directed by management.
