About the Role
As an Outbound Travel Sales Consultant, you’ll use your sales expertise and personal travel experience to inspire and connect customers with unforgettable journeys. This is a call centre based position in Byron Bay, where you’ll help backpackers and travellers discover the best tours, activities, and experiences in Fiji, with future development into supporting Asia, and European trips.

What You’ll Do

• Customer Engagement: Connect with travellers via phone and email, understand their needs, and recommend tailored packages.
• Sales Excellence: Drive outbound travel sales, promote tours and destinations, and achieve/exceed targets.
• Product Expertise: Build deep knowledge of destinations, experiences, and industry trends.
• Problem-Solving: Handle enquiries with creativity and care to deliver seamless customer experiences.
• Collaboration: Work with suppliers, partners, and colleagues to refine processes and improve results.
• Continuous Learning: Take advantage of ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

• Travel Sales Experience (preferred): A background in sales (travel, tourism, or hospitality) is highly valued.
• Personal Travel Experience: Especially in Fiji - giving you authentic insights to share.
• Communication Skills: Confident, engaging, and empathetic, with strong written and verbal ability.
• Sales Acumen: Results-driven, with a proven ability to upsell, close deals, and hit targets.
• Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, call-centre environment.
• Problem-Solving: Creative and resourceful approach to customer needs.
• Team Spirit: A collaborative attitude with a willingness to support your colleagues.
