Description
As an Outbound Sales Representative, you will engage prospective and existing customers, present tailored wireless solutions, and close sales to achieve or exceed monthly targets. Success in this role requires strong communication and objection-handling skills, along with a solid understanding of telecommunications products and customer needs. Duties and Responsibilities: Outbound Sales & Engagement • Make outbound calls to prospects and existing customers to offer telco promotions, upgrades, and solutions • Conduct account check-ins, assess needs, and provide value-based product recommendations • Build rapport quickly within the first few seconds of the call • Create urgency and guide customers toward making a confident buying decision Objection Handling & Value Proposition • Respond to objections with strong rebuttals and clear product explanations • Identify decision-makers and navigate gatekeepers professionally • Position promotions and offers effectively to maximize conversions Sales Conversion & Targets • Consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals • Maintain a solid pipeline through positive callbacks and follow-ups • Upsell and cross-sell additional products when appropriate Documentation & System Navigation • Accurately document call outcomes, customer interactions, and next steps • Use CRM, dialer systems, and telco platforms properly • Follow all compliance and quality guidelines Customer Experience • Ensure a smooth and professional call experience • Assist customers with product questions, contract terms, and troubleshooting steps when needed • Maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions • Minimum of 3 years’ Outbound Sales experience in a true sales role (not appointment setting, surveys, or inbound customer service) • At least 1 year of B2B sales experience • Proven ability to close sales and hit monthly targets • Strong objection-handling, upselling, and probing skills • Experience managing the full sales cycle: Lead → Pitch → Objection Handling → Close → Follow-up • Comfortable working in high-volume outbound environments • Excellent communication skills, with confidence and professionalism on calls Advantageous Experience/Skills: • Telco experience (AT&T, wireless, mobility, telecom, or similar campaigns) • Experience selling to US-based businesses • Ability to handle quotas, pacing, and performance metrics • Strong discipline in script adherence and maintaining high call quality
