JOB DESCRIPTION

Vanguard Tech Services, a distinguished leader in the Managed IT Services industry, is looking for an ambitious and driven sales professional to join our dynamic team. As an Outbound Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base by engaging with prospective business leads. In this role, you will articulate our value proposition, set up strategic business meetings in collaboration with our field sales team, and manage our prospect database while nurturing relationships with potential clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Business-to-Business outbound sales or telemarketing.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a professional phone presence.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting and consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Quick Thinker: Ability to think on your feet and respond effectively under pressure.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management with an unwavering attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and internet-based technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate New Business: Utilize both warm and cold calls to identify and cultivate qualified leads.
  • Drive Results: Bring a proactive, “go-getter” attitude to exceed weekly appointment targets.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with the outside sales team to coordinate efforts and optimize business opportunities.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in weekly sales meetings, training sessions, and peer support groups to refine your sales skills.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all lead information and sales documentation are updated and accurately maintained in a timely manner.
