Description North Central Area Credit Union is seeking a motivated and member-focused Outbound Sales Specialist to support loan growth and strengthen member relationships. This role is responsible for proactive outbound calling, follow-ups, and targeted campaigns to promote consumer lending products and services. The ideal candidate is comfortable with consultative sales, enjoys building relationships over the phone, and is driven by goals while maintaining a high standard of service. Key Responsibilities Conduct proactive outbound calls to existing and prospective members using call lists, campaigns, and member insights Identify member financial needs through effective questioning and active listening Promote and close consumer lending products including personal loans, auto loans, credit cards, HELOCs, balance transfers, GAP, and warranty products Generate, qualify, and close loan applications or referrals in alignment with production goals Follow up on pre-approved offers, incomplete applications, declined or withdrawn loans, and other opportunities Accurately document member interactions and sales activity in CRM and loan systems Collaborate with lending, branch, and member service teams to ensure smooth handoffs and positive member experiences Maintain compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Participate in training, coaching, and performance reviews to continuously improve sales effectiveness Requirements Education & Experience High school diploma required Previous lending experience or experience in a full-service financial institution preferred Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of consumer lending products, policies, and procedures Strong communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills Ability to analyze financial information and recommend appropriate solutions Comfortable working toward call volume, application, and sales goals Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and internet applications Bilingual skills preferred Professional appearance and positive attitude
