Position Summary: The Outbound Team Lead will be the front-line support for employees and supervisors. The team lead supports efforts in the warehouse and is the expert in operational standards. [https://www.vgmgroup.com/stories-of-opportunity] Reporting Accountability: Shift Supervisor Working Hours: Full-Time, 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday Working Location: On-Site at VGM Fulfillment Warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona Key Responsibilities: * Provide indirect supervision of employees and support supervisor in team member initiatives * Evaluate needs of the team and communicate openly with the supervisor and manager * Assist employees in all training efforts and handling overflow work * Assist the quality station when needed * Assist in auditing bulk orders * Handle all email communication that comes to the warehouse requests distro list * Communicate daily stats to the team * Assist in annual reviews for employees, weekly ADP timecard approval, and time off requests * Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business * Maintain a clean and safety work environment to prevent accidents and injuries * Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards by ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures * Assists with safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and complete all necessary documentation * Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds * Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management * Be willing and adapt to change in order to support business objectives * Demonstrate accurate verbal and written communication skills * Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities * Maintain a clear and organized work environment by ensuring all work areas are kept tidy and free of hazards by regularly cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and materials * Embody the VGM Power of One Principles Key Qualifications: * Ability to consistently communicate with other VGMF and VGM Group personnel in person and via Microsoft Office 365 products. * Ability to enforce internal policies and procedures * Ability to develop, influence, and coach indirect reports * Ability to multitask and prioritize key warehouse initiatives * Cross trained in other areas of the warehouse * Thorough knowledge ofD365and various other programs used by the team * Willing to work overtime Education: * High School diploma or GED Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility 75% of the workday * Ability to lift 5lbs or less for extended periods * Ability to react quickly and move quickly to various locations throughout the building as needed by the operation * At least 50% of daily time dedicated to being “on the floor” available to assist associates and other personnel Learn more about VGM Group, Inc.: Headquartered in Waterloo, Iowa, VGM is a 100% employee-owned company providing business and professional services to thousands of business customers across North America.
