QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/JOB REQUIREMENTS (ABOUT YOU):

  • Warehouse experience using a pallet jack and/or forklift and palletizing product.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • High level of physical exertion is required; repetitive, continuous lifting to 40 kg.
  • Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment.
  • Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
  • Has great attention to detail.
  • Embodies quality, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

ROLE:

This is a warehouse position responsible for operating an electric pallet jack, selecting the correct products from warehouse racking, scanning and labeling product using SOS label technology, palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders, and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.
This position requires working [approximately 4:30pm until end-of-shift] until all product is accurately selected and loaded. Overtime hours and working weekends and holidays may be required to successfully fill customers’ orders. Job requires working in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions, and on selecting environment (Dry, Cooler, Freezer).

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Selects orders and loads pallets for delivery of product to our customers.
  • Forklift duties based of certification and tenor
  • Maintains an acceptable level of production and accuracy while selecting food service orders.
  • Able to stand, move, stretch and bend – on average you will walk over 5 kilometers in a single shift.
  • Adheres to all Preferred Work Methods and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Carries out duties in a safe manner as instructed through training
  • Other duties may be assigned.
