HURON NATURE AREA OUTDOOR AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTRE

Reporting to the System Administrator of Pathways and Experiential Learning, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of services to teachers and students from Grade 1 to 12 at the WRDSB Huron Nature Area Outdoor and Environmental Education Centres.
The successful applicant for this Educational Support Staff position, Level H ( $74,462 to $85,666) will be working 35 hours per week, 12 months per year, effective as soon as possible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree with a focus in outdoor and environmental science;
- Well-formed environmental ethic;
- Good working knowledge of flora, fauna and ecological principles;
- Computer literacy (working knowledge of Google suites in a Windows environment);
- Current First Aid certification;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with students, teachers and the public;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Proven ability to take initiative and complete assigned duties with minimal supervision; and
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
