Our Mission: Share authentic hunting and outdoor experiences that educate, inspire, and strengthen the hunting community while supporting conservation efforts (we donate 10% of profits to hunting conservation initiatives).
Position OverviewWe’re seeking experienced outdoor writers who can transform their field experiences into compelling content that resonates with both beginner and experienced hunters. This isn’t about perfect writing credentials—it’s about authentic experiences and the passion to share them with fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
Employment Type: Freelance/Contract
Location: Remote
Compensation: Competitive freelance rates based on content performance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of active hunting experience (non-negotiable)
• Authentic field experience in chosen content areas
• Passion for conservation and ethical outdoor practices
• Ability to write engaging, personal stories from your outdoor experiences
• Understanding of hunting safety, regulations, and best practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with multiple hunting methods (spot and stalk, tree stands, ground blinds, calling)
• Knowledge of firearms, shooting sports, and outdoor gear
• Social media content creation experience
• Photography skills for content enhancement
• Support for hunting conservation organizations

• Contribute to our growing social media presence with content that performs well on Instagram and Facebook
• Collaborate with our team of 5+ writers to maintain consistent, high-quality content
• Support our conservation mission through responsible, ethical outdoor content
