We are seeking hardworking and eager-to-learn apprentices to join our team. Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Apprentice, you will be surrounded by our skilled and experienced team, who will provide you with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills needed for delivering and running fun and educational sessions. Alongside your training in National Governing Body qualifications, you will have the opportunity to take the lead in a diverse range of watersports and land-based activities. This role is an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to working with diverse individuals, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will gain invaluable skills and experience which are recognized in the outdoors industry while fulfilling the requirements of a formal apprenticeship programme. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are aged 17/18 + seeking an exciting alternative to the traditional 9-to-5, especially if you enjoy spending time outside!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the preparation, setup and delivery of various outdoor activities, including sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and land activities.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure that all activities are delivered in a safe, enjoyable and inclusive manner for participants of all abilities
  • Create a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors, fostering a positive experience for everyone.
    -Actively participate in training and development opportunities to gain relevant qualifications and enhance your professional skills.
  • Consistently uphold and follow the centre’s values, policies and procedures, particularly those concerning safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection.
