JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Pool Monitor to oversee the Tahoe Keys outdoor pool area. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests by enforcing pool rules, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to safety.
Compensation: $18-20/hr

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a recreational or hospitality setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Check-in guests and record access card information.
  • Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests.
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations, addressing any inappropriate behavior promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including restrooms, lounge chairs, and surrounding spaces.
  • Conduct regular safety checks, including monitoring water quality and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about pool hours, events, and community activities.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance staff to report any issues or necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
