ABOUT THE ROLE Job Summary: Responsible for efficient and consistent way of executing quality control activities of different products produced in the company and support in the overall activities of the department and making sure that products meet a set of standards Responsibilities: Conduct visual inspection on all passports or cards to ensure the good products are transferred to the next process. Follow the approved defect catalogue for defect identification such as color, dust/dirt, scratch, dent and others. Check the color of the product matches as per the approved sample. Verify the printed texts are same as per provided proof. Ensure the security elements are applied properly on the product and use specific tools if needed. Check the position of the elements applied on the product by using approved provided templates. Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database Updating job knowledge by engaging in regular training Verifying all tools and templates are correct and calibrated. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace Inform any discrepancy to In- Charge immediately. About You Qualifications and Experience: Diploma in Laboratory Technician or related field or a combination of training and experience from a recognized institution A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control field in a manufacturing entity is a plus. A 'COC' certification is a plus. Job Competencies: Keen attention to detail Ability to handle work pressure Core Competencies: Flexibility Honesty Accountability Teamwork Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Physically fit No Color blindness Able to work in shifts (Day/Night). Works overtime if required.
