Work location: Island-wide
Working hours: 7:00am-4:00pm / 7:30am-4:30pm (Overtime as required)
Working days: 6days per week

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Min. 1-2 years of experience as a Baker in a outlet / food production environment will be an advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy bags of flour and dough and work in a warm / humid environment.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak production times.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment - works efficiently under pressure while collaborating with others.
  • Willing to work 6days per week (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) and shift as early as 7:00am.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake variety of breads following standardized recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Precisely add fillings, toppings and ingredients.
  • Load, operate and monitor deck or convection ovens. Must accurately judge baking times and temperatures for different products to achieve perfect color, crust and internal doneness.
  • Inspect finished products to guarantee they meet taste, texture and appearance standards.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and minimizing shortages.
  • Strictly follow food safety, sanitation and workplace hygiene regulations to maintain a clean environment.
