Job Title: Outpatient Addictions Director
Department: Addiction and Recovery Services
Reports To: Clinical Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Baker City, Oregon

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Outpatient Addiction Director provides clinical and administrative leadership for all outpatient addiction services, ensuring high-quality, ethical, and compliant service delivery in accordance with OAR 309-019 and applicable state and federal regulations. This role oversees a full continuum of outpatient addiction treatment programs, including traditional outpatient services, jail diversion, addiction court programs, DUII services, Minor in Possession (MIP) programs, Batterer?s Intervention, gambling treatment, and peer-delivered services.
The Director supervises CADC-Rs, CADCs, Peer Support Specialists, and program staff, while also maintaining a small clinical caseload and facilitating groups. The position plays a key role on the agency?s Administrative Team, contributing to strategic planning, quality improvement, and financial oversight.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current Oregon Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II) credential (CADC III preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in addiction treatment, including at least 2 years of supervisory or program management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 309-019), addiction treatment best practices, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Experience with DUII, diversion, court-mandated, and specialty addiction programs.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage billing, productivity standards, and program budgets.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR), Microsoft Office, and reporting systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master?s degree in addictions, social work, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
  • Dual credentialing as a QMHP or license eligible in Oregon.
  • Experience working in integrated behavioral health settings.
  • Bilingual and/or bicultural skills.
