Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services, in partnership with Indian Health Services (IHS), is seeking experienced Clinic Registered Nurses (RNs) for a long-term contract assignment at Hopi Health Care Center. This opportunity allows you to provide high-quality outpatient care to patients of all ages while gaining valuable experience in a unique healthcare environment. Start Date: Aug/Sept Schedule: Full-time | Day & Night Shifts Available Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) - no weekends no holidays Contract Length: Minimum 6 months | Up to 1 year with additional extension options available Location: Polacca, Arizona Facility Info: https://www.ihs.gov/phoenix/healthcarefacilities/hopi/ What You'll Do Provide direct outpatient nursing care to patients of all ages. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring. Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures. Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments. Coordinate patient care, follow-up needs, and referrals. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care. Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to providers and the healthcare team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Deliver safe, patient-centered care while following established clinical policies and procedures. Requirements Requirements Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (ADN or BSN required) Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience Minimum of 1- 2 years of recent Outpatient/Urgent care experience Must be experienced with all ages Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily in the United States Must be able to pass a federal security clearance Qualifications Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state accepted) Current BLS certification required ACLS & PALS preferred Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Previous IHS experience a plus Experience with EHR systems required Required immunizations must be up to date
