Description Position Summary: The Outpatient Infusion Center Registered Nurse, under the direction of a Provider provides wound care, catheter care, and administers intravenous treatment including but not limited to antibiotics, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and supportive care. They work closely with an interdisciplinary medical team to plan, evaluate and implement interventions for related patient care problems. The RN participates in continuous process and quality improvement, is trained to advocate and care for the patient from the admission through discharge processes whether to another unit or from the facility. The RN must be skilled in inserting peripheral IV’s, monitoring and caring for PICC lines, Ports, mid-line and peripheral intravenous catheters. The RN acts as a resource and consultant for staff regarding IV infusion and treatment therapies, assessments, products and procedures. Supports all aspects of the infusion center. Successful candidates will have a passion for excellence in customer service, teamwork and enjoy working with the patients. Schedule: Part-Time 20 hours/week Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in nursing required. BSN preferred. Active licensure in the State of Montana. Candidates will have two (2) years of clinical experience including IV therapy experiences. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider Certification are required. ONS Oncology Nurse Orientation Program (to be completed within 6 months of hire and ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate (to be completed within the first year). Upon completion of the Nurse Orientation Program, a completion of Immunotherapy Certification will be required.
