Starting Wage: $21.86-$30.07 per hour, depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY

The Medical Assistant for outpatient departments assists medical providers and works closely with patients in preparation for examination to provide medical care. In this role, the Medical Assistant performs routine tests and assists with maintenance and inventory of all medical supplies; completes paperwork assigned by the provider; assists front office, scheduling, and medical records team as needed; fields and conducts patient calls as requested; manages in-basket and prepares charts; and enters ancillary service orders and computerized provider order entries (CPOE).

EXPERIENCE

• Prior direct patient care or related experience, or current enrollment in, or graduation from, a medical assistant program, required
