Description The Child and Family Wellness Center (TCFWC) and Unlimited Behavioral Health Services (UBHS) provide culturally responsive, community-based behavioral health services to children, youth, adults, and families across Massachusetts. Services include In-Home Therapy (IHT), Therapeutic Mentoring (TM), Therapeutic Training & Support (TT&S), and outpatient mental health counseling. Our work is grounded in culturally informed, strengths-based, and trauma-responsive practices designed to promote healing, resilience, and long-term well-being. TCFWC and UBHS are in search of in person Outpatient Mental Health Clinicians as Independent Contractors to provide outpatient behavioral health services, including individual, family, and group therapy, to youth, adults, and families to our clients in Leominster, MA. Outpatient services focus on: Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions Symptom reduction and emotional regulation Strengthening coping skills and adaptive functioning Supporting clients across developmental, cultural, and life-stage transitions Outpatient Mental Health Clinicians use independent clinical judgment in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention while adhering to ethical standards, payer requirements, and organizational documentation expectations. Services are delivered in person, clinic-based, or community-based settings as determined by the Outpatient Mental Health Clinicians collaboration with clients and consistent with service authorization. Locations may include multiple TCFWC and UBHS sites across Massachusetts. Clinicians are expected to maintain a minimum caseload of five clients. Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations within the scope of licensure. Develop, implement, and revise individualized, client-centered treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches appropriate to client needs. Outpatient Therapeutic Services Provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth, adults, and families. Address emotional, behavioral, relational, and psychosocial challenges. Support clients in developing coping strategies, insight, and adaptive skills that promote well-being. Collaboration & Care Coordination Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams, and community partners as clinically indicated. Coordinate care to support continuity, appropriateness, and effectiveness of services. Maintain professional boundaries while participating in collaborative treatment efforts. Documentation & Professional Standards Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR). Maintain records in accordance with payer requirements, ethical standards, and applicable laws. Track client progress and outcomes to inform ongoing treatment. Requirements Must be based in the Leominster, MA area or able to travel there on a regular basis. Master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. Experience providing clinical services to diverse populations in community or outpatient settings. Strong clinical skills with a commitment to evidence-based practices. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Cultural sensitivity and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Ability to work independently and manage multiple clinical responsibilities. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Comfort with electronic documentation systems. Engagement Terms Classification: Independent Contractor (1099) Compensation: $40 - $65 per billable service units, per Contract agreement Hours: No guarantee of minimum hours or caseload (generally up to 20+ hours per week) Benefits: Contractors are not eligible for employee benefits
