Must be willing and able to pass Federal Security Clearance pre-hire Duties Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy. Dispense medications accurately and provide clear instructions to patients regarding their use. Conduct patient assessments to monitor medication efficacy and safety. Manage inventory levels of pharmaceuticals, ensuring proper storage and handling. Provide consultations on pain management strategies and medication-related issues. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy software systems. Adhere to aseptic techniques when preparing sterile medications. Collaborate with healthcare teams in hospital settings, including pediatrics, to deliver optimal patient care. Skills Strong background in clinical pharmacy practices. Proficient in using pharmacy software for medication management and documentation. Knowledgeable in pain management protocols and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with inventory management processes to ensure adequate stock levels of medications. Understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmaceutical care. Experience working within hospital environments, particularly in pediatrics, is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals. Maintain continuing education/certification Must be a US citizen, living primarily in the United States Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must meet all credentialing and background investigation requirements.
