Description
The Supervisor is a licensed pharmacist with knowledge and proficiency in pharmacy practice and administration. Is responsible for the professional and administrative management of pharmacy operations service and day to day operation. Collaborates with Leadership to develop, implement, and maintain systems promoting safe, effective, and efficient processes. Is part of the Operations Management Team and will have pharmacist staffing responsibilities as well as responsibility for supervision and coordination of daily work activities of pharmacy staff members schedules and assignments. Serves as a resource to the assigned staff regarding specific skill demonstration, promotion of knowledge, communication and is expected to provide ongoing education, coaching and mentorship in reference to policy, and develop plans of action. The Supervisor works to enhance and maintain the services and ensures hospital outcomes are met. Will support initiatives of improving Outpatient Pharmacy Services. Maintains and promotes compliance with 340b practices. Will respond to immediate service interruptions and/or concerns to ensure a satisfactory service recovery. Adjust resources to meet operational needs within budget allocation. Education Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy or PharmD Required Experience 3 years experience working in retail/community pharmacy Required 2 years experience working in specialty pharmacy Preferred 2 years experience supervision or managing an outpatient pharmacy practice or similar practice Preferred Licenses PA Pharmacist License Required
