This role involves patient assessment, coordination of care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered services. We provide outpatient nursing services to patients who do not require an overnight stay in the hospital. Outpatient nurses are equipped to address and treat a long list of medical needs including: · Illness Management/Coordination · Injections and infusions · Medication management · Health education Key Responsibilities IV Infusions, PICC and PORT Line Care, Urinary Catheter Care, Injections, Therapeutic Phlebotomy, Medication Management, Education, Wound Care, Endoscopy Services. Provide direct patient care in outpatient services and assist with procedures. Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare team members to plan and deliver care. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and follow-up care. Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Ensure accurate billing for all procedures performed in compliance with hospital policy. Materials Management Maintain infection control and safety standards. Support hospital programs as needed. Requirements Current Idaho Nurse (RN) license required. BLS certification required (ACLS preferred). Prior outpatient or hospital experience preferred. Ability to perform detailed technical procedures and maintain accurate records. Strong clinical judgement, communication, and organizational skills.
