Now starting at $24.07 per hour! We are looking to add an Outpatient Counselor to our team in Clinton. This role will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and facilitating group and individual sessions for patients seeking assistance with substance use disorders. Additionally, this person will be required to commute to our Maquoketa location on designated days. Essential Job Functions: · Manages and maintains a caseload of outpatient clients · Initiates, implements, and reviews a treatment plan for all assigned clients · Coordinates all service delivery for assigned clients · Provides individual counseling to all assigned clients · Facilitate group counseling for selected clients · Coordinates client involvement with other agencies · Attends training as needed and directed, provides education and information to other community and general public · Provides urinalysis monitoring on an as needed basis; maintains contact with referring agency or person; and conducts intake and assessments on a regular basis. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Human Service or related field preferred; or Bachelor’s Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, Counseling or related field; or certified or licensed counselor working in the substance abuse field and/or mental health field. Ability to work on a daily basis utilizing standard office equipment. Ability to use computer system, software, and to work well with technology. Ability to use independent judgement, analytical/decision-making skills, verbal and written communication skills, human relations skills, team working skills, and organizational skills. Certification from IBC is preferred This position consists of sitting or standing for extended periods of time. ASAC offers competitive compensation, this role starts at $24.07 with additional compensation for candidates with extensive experience.
