Description New Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast (and beyond), serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, 24-hour help line and mobile response team, and outpatient programs conveniently located across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. New Horizons is looking for an Outpatient Support and Data Specialist who will ensure clients are seen in a timely manner, gather documentation, and manages the coordination of client appointments to ensure smooth customer experience. This role is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and confirming the accuracy of client's demographic and insurance profile setup along with addressing calls, voicemails, and follow-up return calls to clients. As an Outpatient Support and Data Specialist, your responsibilities will include: Client insurance setup in the electronic medical records system. Respond to calls from customers using telephone communications and create initial appointment scheduling. Responsible for the coordination of initial client contacts and the related intake processes. Establishes client fees in accordance with agency guidelines and communicates this information clearly to clients and/or families. Ensures that scheduling preferences (face-to-face or Zoom) meet the providers’ specific and client accessibility needs. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements New Horizons will need you to have the following qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Two years of clerical experience or scheduling activities Experience in healthcare office is preferred. Must have reliable transportation and able to work hours as assigned.
