Description AMHC is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and licensed behavioral health professional to join our team as a Per Diem Outpatient Therapist-Consultant in Caribou. This flexible position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality outpatient therapy services while serving as a valuable clinical resource within a multidisciplinary behavioral health system. Schedule On call No more than 24 hours/week What You'll Do As a Per Diem Outpatient Therapist-Consultant, you will: Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and diagnostic evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions Deliver individual, family, couples, and group therapy services Provide clinical consultation and diagnostic guidance to staff and treatment teams Participate in crisis consultation and support services as needed Maintain accurate and timely electronic clinical documentation Support staff development, clinical training, and supervision of interns Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, hospitals, community agencies, and law enforcement partners Provide educational presentations and behavioral health outreach within the community Deliver specialized behavioral health services consistent with your professional licensure What We're Looking For Qualified candidates will possess: Current State of Maine professional licensure in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another applicable behavioral health discipline Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning Strong clinical judgment and consultation skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to ethical practice and person-centered care Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team environment Why Join AMHC?
