Description Outpatient Therapist Compensation: $100-200/hour Location: This is an in person role based out of Livingston, NJ Employment Type: W-2 Employee, Part-Time (12 hours per week) The Outpatient Therapist provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families while maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time in collaboration with a supportive clinical team. Our services are delivered in a highly ethical, confidential, and professional manner that promotes emotional and relational well-being while honoring each individual’s spiritual beliefs and cultural practices. Outpatient Therapist Responsibilities Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans Facilitate or co-facilitate individual and group sessions, teaching and utilizing DBT principles Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation Maintain an active caseload of approximately 12 hours per week Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $100-200 per hour; paid bi-weekly 401(k) retirement plan with employer match 20-hour Paid Training in DBT-Informed Therapy Billing, credentialing, scheduling, and intake support Flexible scheduling and telehealth options Requirements Outpatient Therapist Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted license: Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC in New Jersey Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT) Training or experience in DBT is a plus Ability to provide therapy independently Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc. Experience in outpatient or group practice settings About Mindsoother: Mindsoother is committed to providing ethical, confidential, and compassionate mental health care in a safe, non-judgmental, and affirming environment for both clients and staff.
