Description Outpatient Therapist (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) Compensation: $100-200/hour Location: This is an on-site role based out of Livingston, NJ Employment Type: W-2 Employee, Part-Time (12 hours per week) The Outpatient Therapist provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families while maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time in collaboration with a supportive clinical team. This opportunity requires experience providing therapy to children and adolescents. Preferred applicants will have strong community ties/connections and/or have an established transferable private practice caseload of 6+ clients. Outpatient Therapist Responsibilities Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans Facilitate or co-facilitate individual and group sessions, teaching and utilizing DBT principles Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation Maintain an active caseload of approximately 12 hours per week Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $100-200 per hour; paid bi-weekly 20-hour Paid Training in DBT-Informed Therapy Billing, scheduling, and intake support Flexible scheduling and telehealth options Requirements Outpatient Therapist Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted license: Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in New Jersey, or Active, provisional license: LSW, LAMFT, and LAC in New Jersey Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT) Training or experience in DBT is a plus Ability to provide therapy independently Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms Experience conducting psychotherapy with children and adolescents Experience in outpatient or group practice settings Preferred candidates will be an established private practice therapist with a transferable caseload and/or strong community ties/ connections About Mindsoother: Mindsoother is committed to providing ethical, confidential, and compassionate mental health care in a safe, non-judgmental, and affirming environment for both clients and staff.
