Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Bethany Children's Health Center - Bethany, OK 73008 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Diploma Travel Percentage: None Job Category: Admin - Clerical Job Purpose: To efficiently process incoming referrals and other documents, create patient charts and cases, and maintain patients’ charts to allow for more timely patient scheduling and communication. While the Outpatient Referral Liaison will be assigned to a primary job position, they will be cross trained in other positions to help balance workload and to provide fill-in for co-workers as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duty Percent of Time Referral Intake and tracking and chart and case creation 50% Update and maintain contents of patients’ charts 30% Verifies patients’ insurance benefits 10% Cross-trains with other employees to fill in as needed 5% Other duties as assigned 5% Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or GED with specialized training. Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English required. Experience: Previous or directly related experience with managing patient referrals or scheduling is preferred.
