YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
· Administration experience
· Strong attention to detail
· NHS experience (desirable)

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
· Provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the Cardiothoracic Directorate Cardiology Outpatients and Imaging service. To provide excellent customer facing service at all times at reception areas.
· To manage the referral and triage administrative process for E-Referrals, within Cardiology. To provide clinic prep services to all Cardiology clinics within the Directorate. This role involves a rotation around 4 areas within the Outpatient Department
· Book procedure arrangements into EPR and other systems at times appropriate to individual patient request, clinical priority and procedure & electro-medical equipment availability.
· Convey any changes to appointments sensitively with clear explanations for movement.
· Enter relevant clinical and demographic information into clinical database system (Datacam/Solus) or other PC based systems (E.G. Microsoft Access/Excel).
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
