Description

The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.
The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) at the University of Luxembourg contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences and Medicine.
Through its dual mission of teaching and research, the FSTM seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge and train new generations of responsible citizens in order to better understand, explain and advance society and environment we live in.

Responsibilities

The AI Factory (L-AIF) is a national flagship initiative that aims to foster a robust and inclusive AI ecosystem in Luxembourg by bridging education, research, industry, and society. It focuses on building AI skills, promoting trustworthy AI, and accelerating innovation through targeted training, micro-credentials, public engagement, and industry collaboration. Within this initiative, the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) at the University of Luxembourg plays a leading role in developing AI training programmes, coordinating talent development activities, and supporting outreach and communication efforts. As the leader of the Work Package on Talent Development, FSTM is responsible for designing sector-specific courses, managing the creation of micro-credentials, and organising events such as hackathons and seminars, in close collaboration with academic and industry partners.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design and execute communication strategies that enhance the visibility and impact of the AI Factory (L-AIF) project across academic, industrial, and public domains
  • Create and manage multimedia content (articles, newsletters, social media, press releases, videos, and podcasts) that translates technical and research findings into accessible, engaging formats
  • Manage, coordinate, and promote internal and external events—including project meetings, AI Cafés, hackathons, workshops, and public seminars—ensuring effective outreach and stakeholder engagement
  • Monitor trends in science communication, digital outreach, and AI literacy to inform strategic direction and apply innovative practices to project communications
  • Collaborate with the research team to synthesise and disseminate insights through white papers, case studies, policy briefs, and interdisciplinary publications
  • Analyse communication impact through outreach metrics and audience feedback, supporting evidence-based adjustments to outreach strategies
  • Contribute to internal knowledge management by maintaining structured archives, shared documentation systems, and workflows for efficient consortium-wide communication
  • Act as a communication liaison across project partners, aligning internal messages and ensuring clear, consistent dissemination of project objectives and achievements
