Job DetailsJob Location: TX-CPC Social Services Center - Dallas, TX 75235Position Type: Full Time RegularEducation Level: Bachelor's DegreeJob Category: Social ServicesThis position is responsible for: Develops, strengthens, and maintains community partnerships with law enforcement, local businesses, and community-based organizations to enhance referral pathways for victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. Ensures the program’s visibility, builds collaborative initiatives, and promotes coordinated community responses to victimization. Assesses clients’ needs for community resources; maintains appropriate records and ongoing written and verbal communication with the clinical team and other professional staff with respect to daily client activities; facilitates a supportive environment conducive that enhances positive client morale and crisis stabilization; reports outreach and client outcomes data to the Program Manager. Key Responsibilities: Engages in canvassing high-risk zip codes and engages local businesses to raise awareness and strengthen referral pathways for victims of trafficking. Conducts community education and training on human/sex trafficking, trauma-informed care, and other related focuses. Actively identifies and builds relationships with victims of sex trafficking, providing crisis support, intervention, and service connections to assistance programs and/or mainstream social services as desired by the client; works collaboratively with outreach team members to assure the safety of the victims and the workers. Provides program information and conducts presentations on The Salvation Army’s Victim Services Program to raise awareness of available resources and support for trafficking victims, to strengthen referral networks and victim service assistance. Provides essential services to victims of sex trafficking; connects them with critical services; assesses client’s needs for community resources; interprets program services available to potential clients; facilitates linkages to community services. Completes required paperwork representing outreach services for the day; details services and referrals provided; maintains program records daily; submits required reports and statistics. Builds and maintains effective working relationships with community agencies in order to maintain awareness of resources and make appropriate referrals; serves as liaison to local Police Department and other community stakeholders. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly while maintaining control and initiating the proper corrective action. Ability to drive a vehicle safely and in accordance with all laws and regulations. Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Some duties are performed seated however a significant amount of walking and/or standing is required.
