Strong organizational abilities and event coordination expertise are essential for planning and executing outreach events, as well as managing social media content and engagement effectively. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in support of the Center for Tax Education’s mission and outreach objectives.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Outreach Program Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of the Center for Tax Education (CTE) by leading efforts in communications, event coordination, community engagement, and data management. Reporting directly to the Director, the Outreach Program Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with a wide range of stakeholders – including students, volunteers, faculty, alumni, donors, and community partners – to enhance the center’s visibility and impact. This position oversees the planning and execution of outreach initiatives, supports the coordination of both digital and in-person events, and manages social media strategy and content. Additionally, the OPC acts as a key liaison with the university’s marketing and communications office and provides frontline support for the CTE office during peak periods such as tax season.
This role is ideal for a dynamic communicator and organizer who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and is passionate about community engagement and education.
