Description About the Position You will be the first point of contact for members and guests who desire to play a round of Golf. You will assist members in obtaining a Golf Cart, placing their Golf Bag on the cart, ensuring basic needs are met. You will exemplify an appreciation for the sport of Golf and working with members and guests aiding members to feel “hassle” free during their golf experience as well as exhibiting the core values of Grey Oaks. Learn more at www.greyoakscc.com About You Your primary responsibility will be to provide our members with the best customer service in golf. You will greet member golfers in an enthusiastic and courteous manner upon their arrival at the club. You are an eager up and coming golf professional with a passion for the sport and a willingness to learn and be mentored by experienced golf leaders. Your enthusiasm shows to all who meet you. Those values are on display every day, and displayed with every decision you make. Requirements Maintain a pleasant and outgoing personality. Be able to provide information on club policies and procedures, upcoming events, and play rules for the day. Engage in retrieving golf bags from members'/guests’ cars or when a member enters the premises with their bag and placing the golf bag on the golf carts. Ensure all carts are neat and orderly, ready for the player (s). Wash golf carts, clean member's clubs upon the conclusion of play. Keep the outside area in good working order and assist in tournament operations. Assist starters and rangers with on course assistance as requested. Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly. All other duties as assigned by management. Education/Experience High school diploma or GED minimum. Golf Operations and Procedures Experience required. Background as a golfer/caddie is a plus. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
