We are seeking a detail-oriented and team-focused Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our team in the Baltimore area. Position Overview: Beltway Companies Outside Parts Sales Representatives are charged with providing for the parts needs of wholesale and fleet customers. The Outside Parts Sales Representatives responsibility is to represent the Parts Department in the customer’s place of business, address their parts needs, respond to information inquires, process parts orders, identify sales opportunities and sell additional parts and accessories. Additional responsibilities are to assist with light delivery and sales promotional activities in the customer’s place of business. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular on-site visits Understand customer operations and identify parts needs and sales opportunities Respond quickly to customer inquiries, orders, and service issues Prospect and develop new business within assigned territory Present parts solutions, promotions, and new product offerings Prepare and deliver professional sales quotes and proposals Coordinate orders with parts and service teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness Follow up on orders, backorders, and deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction Resolve customer concerns and provide ongoing support Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and reports Requirements At least 5 years of related sales or parts experience preferred, but not required Previous experience in sales, truck parts, automotive parts, or a service shop environment a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory/order management systems Strong communication skills for working effectively with internal teams Valid driver’s license required
Responsibilities
