Gateway Supply Company is seeking a driven and results-oriented Outside Plumbing Sales Representative to support and grow our customer base of plumbing and mechanical contractors in the greater Myrtle Beach SC area. We’re looking for a self-motivated, disciplined team player with a proven track record of success. This role offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, monthly commissions, and quarterly bonuses.   As a full-time team member, you'll enjoy industry-leading benefits, including comprehensive insurance options, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, and paid holidays.   Responsibilities * Develop and maintain strong relationships with plumbing and mechanical contractors throughout the Bluffton, SC area. * Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts through consistent customer engagement and follow-up. * Promote and sell plumbing, and industrial supply products, leveraging Gateway Supply’s full product offering and vendor partnerships. * Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet project and business requirements. * Collaborate with internal teams—including inside sales, purchasing, and delivery—to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient order fulfillment. * Track sales performance, prepare reports, and maintain customer records. * Stay current on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity to effectively position Gateway Supply as a leader in the market. * Attend training sessions, vendor events, and trade shows as needed to support ongoing education and sales development. * Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.   Qualifications Qualifications * Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the plumbing, HVAC, or industrial supply industry * Strong knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems is a plus * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills * Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities * Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships * Comfortable working independently and as part of a team * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation * High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
