Responsibilities
  • Review planning and work orders from Planners and the Machine Shop
  • Create and batch purchase orders for outside processing to designated suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong, consistent communication with each supplier to ensure on-time processing and delivery
  • Deliver orders to the operations staging area with correct documentation affixed to each package
  • Provide the remaining documentation to the Receiving Quality Inspector to support inspection and receiving processes
  • Serve as a communication hub among Buyers, Demand Managers, Program Managers, and Operations personnel
  • Use ERP software to manage orders and update status accurately
  • Monitor supplier performance and escalate potential delays or issue
