Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Outside Residential Sales Representative will be responsible for going door-to-door and selling our waste services to potential clients. You will be responsible for prospecting and negotiating with potential customers to purchase our trash, recycling and yard waste services. The Outside Residential Sales Representative is responsible for identifying leads and proactively prospecting and selling new and profitable business within an assigned geographic area. The Outside Residential Sales Representative will use a targeted prospect list to canvas local neighborhoods on a door-to-door basis and other approved marketing means. This position is flexible with unlimited earning potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and approach potential customers to promote and sell trash, recycling, and yard waste services through door-to-door outreach.
  • Explain service offerings, pricing, and benefits while addressing customer questions and objections.
  • Develop and maintain prospect lists, follow up with leads, and strive to achieve sales goals.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches to close deals and secure customer commitments.
  • Provide accurate service quotes, negotiate terms, and complete necessary agreements and paperwork.
  • Gather customer contact information and estimate service start dates based on schedules.
  • Distribute informational materials and canvass local neighborhoods to increase awareness.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities to better meet customer needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with sales management to report progress and align strategies.
  • Perform additional sales-related tasks as required.
