Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Outside Sales and Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying new sales opportunities, expanding market reach, and building strong relationships with potential clients. This role requires a results-driven individual who is comfortable working outside the office, actively seeking new clients, and closing sales to achieve revenue goals.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in identifying and developing new business opportunities and managing a full sales cycle.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to travel frequently (within assigned territory or region).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth. Work independently to set up meetings, deliver sales presentations, and create proposals that meet client requirements.

  • Market Expansion & Research

Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to closing and follow-up. Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions to customers.

  • Negotiation & Closing

Coordinate with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience and alignment on offerings, pricing, and product features.

  • Reporting & Sales Forecasting

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

Identify new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and industry events. Generate leads through outreach to potential clients, leveraging personal networks, and building a pipeline for future business.

  • Client Relationship Development:

Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients. Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

  • Sales Strategy Execution:

Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth. Work independently to set up meetings, deliver sales presentations, and create proposals that meet client requirements.

  • Market Expansion & Research:

Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry demands to identify new areas for business growth and expansion.

  • Sales Cycle Management:

Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to closing and follow-up. Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions to customers.

  • Negotiation & Closing:

Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable deals. Ensure that contracts and agreements align with company objectives and client needs.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Coordinate with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience and alignment on offerings, pricing, and product features.

  • Reporting & Sales Forecasting:

Track sales activities and customer interactions through CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Regularly report on progress against sales targets and forecast future sales.

  • Customer Retention & Upselling:

Focus on customer satisfaction to retain clients and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities for additional business.

  • Attendance at Networking Events:

Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships and stay updated on market trends.
