Description Blake & Pendleton (B&P) is the largest Sullair Distributor in the Southeast. B&P offers highly unique services aimed at increasing energy efficiency and improving compressed air usage in customer’s plants and facilities. We are seeking a motivated, driven Entry-Level Outside Sales Associate to support our sales efforts in the compressed air industry. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in industrial sales by learning technical products, developing customer relationships, and growing a defined sales territory. Training and mentorship will be provided. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within assigned territory Prospect for new business through cold calls, referrals, jobsite visits, and networking Learn and sell compressed air equipment, parts, service, and solutions Conduct on-site customer visits to assess needs and recommend appropriate products or services Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow-up communications Coordinate with inside sales, service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information in CRM system Attend product training, manufacturer training, and sales meetings as required Support promotional activities, trade shows, and customer events Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and activity targets Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Zero to Two (0–2) years of sales, customer service, or related experience Interest in industrial, mechanical, or technical products (compressed air experience a plus, not required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a sales career Ability to manage time effectively and work independently Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems) Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory Preferred Skills & Traits Mechanical aptitude or technical curiosity Comfortable speaking with decision-makers and shop personnel Strong follow-up and organizational skills Professional appearance and demeanor Compensation & Benefits Base salary plus commission or incentive plan Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable) Paid training and ongoing development Health, dental, vision, STD, LTD, VOL, GAP, and retirement benefits 401k Plan with company match Paid time off and holidays
