As an Outside Sales Consultant – Rentals, the rewarding base plus commission-based compensation plan gives you the opportunity to succeed. Also provided to you to are an employee fleet vehicle and both a company provided cell phone and laptop. Job Duties and Responsibilities Include: * Develop and promote Rocky Rents in Southern Alberta * Identify and acquire new customers and prospects for heavy equipment rentals * Lead all aspects of the rental process, including: * proposals, quotes and cost-estimating * implementation and deployment of equipment * maximizing the customer’s rental experience * Consult with customers to reduce costs and increase efficiencies by optimizing rental solutions * Execute solution-selling techniques through rental offerings to provide a superior value proposition for our customers * Have significant insight and understanding of the equipment rental market including awareness of competitive product Job Requirements and Qualifications Include: * Demonstrated ability to grow rentals/sales in outside sales capacity * Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills * Effective territory management skills * Strong ability to develop relationships and expand personal network * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence decisions * Attend internal and external sales training programs as well as industry events to ensure continuous professional development * Construction industry and heavy equipment experience are assets We offer a comprehensive benefits package with flexible plans to suit your needs, along with a Group Retirement Plan.
