Job Details Job Location: Portland, OR 97086 Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 Salary/year Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation to the mission-critical industry, is searching for an Outside Sales Account Executive to join our Portland/Vancouver team. This person will have a sales territory primarily in the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA with the potential of selling throughout Oregon and parts of Idaho. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in electrical sales, looking to leverage their expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving sales of electrical testing, maintenance, and arc flash studies across a diverse client base including general contractors, electrical contractors, distributors, and building owners. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the assigned territory. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long-term business growth. Conduct regular client visits to demonstrate product offerings, understand client needs, and provide tailored solutions. Prepare detailed proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the value of our services. Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Provide feedback to the management team on market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities to deliver greater value to our customers. To qualify for this position, you must have the following background: Currently employed as a field sales engineer at an OEM or engineering firm OR experience with an electrical contractor or project manager with a strong sales background specifically in the electrical industry OR junior candidates who are actively engaged in a sales development program at a distributor or an OEM Proven track record in electrical distributor sales roles Ability to travel within the territory as needed.
